Fundraising in the Community

Recently, year 6 pupils have been carrying out a project with the LFC foundation to make a difference and support the local community.

Each class has designed a project to help support a local charity. They have researched, designed posters and held assemblies to raise awareness of their chosen themes. These were pollution and homelessness.

This week, year 6 pupils held a cake sale to raise funds for our chosen charities; Whitechapel Centre  and Merseyside Environmental Trust. Thank you to everyone who has helped and donated cakes and also to those that have gifted their loose change.

We will let you know the total amount raised by the end of next week.  The class that has raised the most money will win an opportunity for a sports reward!

In addition, Mrs Dickens visited Kirkdale ABC boxing club and the Whitechapel Centre to donate food items to help our local community.

Let's hope these kind acts continue during this festive season!
