Gateways to the world.
We had an excellent start to our year. After having the summer holidays and going to lots of lovely places, we shared our experiences and then decided we had to visit an airport. We had a fantastic day out at Runway Visitor Park and Manchester's Terminal 2. It was a great experience to get up close to different aeroplanes speak to those who work at the airport.
We have been doing lots of exciting work around what we have learnt including: a diary entry of a pilot, some air mile maths, terminal timetables and making our own safety briefing.
Thank you for flying with Gwladys gliders!
Temples, Tombs and Treasures
This term we are learning all about Ancient Egypt in our History based topic. We have already had great fun during our entry point with some tomb raiding and looking at different artefacts. We will be creating some beautiful 3D art work using Tutankhamun's death mask for inspiration and exploring Egyptian achievements.
