Gwladys Street pupils visit Liverpool Fotball Stadium

On Monday 10th July, 3 lucky pupils from Key Stage 2 were chosen to represent the school for a visit to Anfield - LFC's Football Stadium.

They had lots of fun meeting Mighty Red; the club's mascot. They lifted the Champions League trophy and had a photo with Robbie Fowler and Jon Flannigan.

But the most important part of the trip was the draw for our school's allocation of match tickets, for next season.

The children had to pick four clubs from out of the pot and, with the help of Fowler and Flannigan, tell the audience which matches they had picked.

The allocated tickets for our school are for home matches against:

Chelsea, Leicester, West Brom and Newcastle.

Thanks to Mrs Baker for organising this year's match trips to Anfield and Goodison. We look forward to next season and hope to gain tickets for even more matches!

So if you would like to be in with a chance of going to one of the above matches, make sure you have excellent attendance next year, fantastic behaviour and a willingness to show good team spirit!
