Mini Police Operation Handle

On Friday 11th Jan 2019, some of our Mini Police were involved in Operation Handle. Here, our children visited local streeets near to Gwladys Street School and visited homes, working in partnership with Merseyside Police and local agencies. Members of the community were given leaflets and information in protecting their homes and crime prevention.

Our Mini Police visited the Kitchen in the Community which was available for the locals to enjoy some hot and cold food and drinks. Here, the children enjoyed developing their cooking skills and made some great food to take home.

Our Mini Police were involved in a community clean up, where skips were made available for locals to rid of any unwanted items. The gullies were also cleaned by Liverpool City Council in partnership with Merseyside Police and the local Councillors.

Often, items involved in crime can be disposed of and the gullies were being targeted for this purpose.

Thank you to all involved, our parent volunteers and our Mini Police who enjoyed helping within our local community.
