On Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th October 2018, Merseyside Police visited our school to work with Year 5 and 6 children. Here, they discussed the dangers of the internet and how pupils can keep safe online. The children discovered how to keep passwords secure, making sure they don't share them with anyone other than a trusted adult. They also understood what 'personal information' is and why it is important not to disclose personal information to people, websites and games who you do not know, trust or have permission to share with from a trusted adult. Finally, they looked at age restrictions for apps and games and how they can check the ratings.
