Attainment

This year, children in Years 2 and 6, sat the new National Curriculum tests in Reading and Maths. Writing has a teacher assessment judgement, however Year 2 and 6 teachers moderate the children's work within school, with another school out of the authority and attend Local Authority Moderation meetings to ensure the judgements are correct. Foundation Stage 2 was moderated by the Local Authority to ensure that the school's judgements were correct.

The attainment scores below show where children have reached the expected level, however the majority of the school's children are making expected and better than expected progress from their starting points.
